Q. What is TrueSwitch?
A. TrueSwitch makes switching to Network Solutions E-mail fast and simple for Outlook Express users.

TrueSwitch copies your current emails, address book and calendar events to your new email account, helps you automatically announce your new email address to everyone in your address book and forwards messages for 30 days from your AT&T address to your new address.

• For forwarding to work, you must be using Outlook Express to read and send emails from your new Network Solutions account.
• Stored emails are copied to Outlook Express and not to your Network Solutions Web Mail.

Q. How does TrueSwitch work?
A. The TrueSwitch service is built around two components: the TrueSwitch Wizard and an application hosted on our web servers.

The TrueSwitch Wizard is a small software program that you download to your computer. When run, it can detect the Internet accounts installed on your computer. You select which account you wish to switch from, and which one to switch to…the TrueSwitch Wizard will do the rest. You can customize the settings for each part of your switching between accounts by choosing the "Custom Install" option when running the TrueSwitch Wizard.

The TrueSwitch Wizard communicates with our servers which will then log into your old account on your behalf to retrieve a copy of your personal information stored on the servers of your old Internet Service Provider, and then copy that information to your new account. Similarly, the TrueSwitch servers will continue to access your old account to forward any new emails that you may have received. The TrueSwitch servers also send your contacts the emails with your new email address.

Q. Will TrueSwitch work with my computer (system requirements)?
A TrueSwitch is designed to work with most Personal Computers made in the last five years, and to support the most popular email software and Internet Service Providers.

The basic system requirements are:

• Operating System: Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP Home and Windows XP Professional with Internet Explorer 5 or higher.
• Pentium II 233 MHz or higher
• 64 MB of Memory or higher
• Access e-mail via Outlook Express

For best results, the TrueSwitch Wizard is designed to run on the same computer that you use to access your old e-mail account. For example, if you are switching from ATT and you access ATT primarily from your home computer, the recommended sequence is as follows:

• Create a new Network Solutions account
• Download and run the TrueSwitch Wizard on your home computer
